Chiller Safety
| Electrical Safety | |
| Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB 10A) | Continuously monitors electrical current flowing through the system. If it detects a fault, a leak to earth, or any abnormal electrical condition, it cuts power immediately. Protects both the equipment and anyone near it from electrical shock. |
| IP67 Waterproof Electronics Enclosure | All electronics are housed in a fully sealed waterproof enclosure rated IP67. Protected against complete immersion in water, not just splashes or rain. Designed for outdoor installations, tropical climates, beachfront locations, and any environment where water, humidity, or salt spray is present. |
| Real-Time Power Monitor (ATorch) | Displays real-time voltage, current, and power consumption. Allows you or a technician to verify the electrical supply is within safe operating limits (210 to 240V, 3.8 to 4.8A, under 2,300W) at any time. If readings fall outside these ranges, it indicates a power supply issue that should be addressed before continuing to operate. |
| Voltage Stabiliser (required) | In countries where the voltage supply is unstable, a voltage stabiliser (minimum 2,000VA) must be connected between the power outlet and the chiller. Protects the compressor and electronics from power fluctuations, surges, and drops common in tropical climates and older buildings. This is a warranty condition. Operating without a voltage stabiliser where one is required voids the chiller warranty. |
| Grounding (recommended) | For the ELCB to provide full protection, the power outlet must be properly grounded (earthed). In most of Europe, the UK, Australia, Singapore, and Japan, household electrical systems are grounded as standard. In Indonesia and some other tropical countries, grounding is not always present at the property level, particularly in older buildings. If your property does not have grounded outlets, we strongly recommend having a qualified electrician install an earth rod and grounding cable before the ice bath is connected. Our installation team checks for grounding during every Bali delivery and can advise on what is needed. This is a safety recommendation, not a warranty condition. |
| Operational Safety | |
| Automatic Thermostat (Autowork Mode) | The chiller automatically turns the compressor on and off to maintain your target temperature. Prevents the compressor from overworking, overheating, or running continuously under load. Reduces electricity consumption and extends the lifespan of the system. Should be left on at all times. |
| Anti-Cavitation Pump Design | The Wasser PB169EA industrial pump has both suction and pressure functions, allowing it to handle air pockets in the water line without cavitating. Cavitation is when trapped air causes the pump to lose flow or fail, and is one of the most common failure points in cheaper chilling systems. Our pump design prevents this. |
| Compressor Wait Time Protection | After delivery or transport: wait 4 to 24 hours before powering on (allows refrigerant to settle). After maintenance or repair: wait 30 minutes. After a power outage or reset: wait 5 to 10 minutes. These wait times protect the compressor from restarting under load. |
| Water Safety | |
| UV-C Disinfection | 16-watt ultraviolet light continuously destroys bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms in the water while the chiller is running. Chemical-free sanitation using the same technology found in hospital and municipal water treatment systems. |
| Continuous Water Circulation | The pump keeps water moving at all times while the chiller is plugged in. Prevents stagnation, which is the primary cause of bacterial growth in standing water. The full volume of the bath passes through filtration and disinfection approximately 8 to 10 times per hour. |
| Stainless Steel Particle Filter | Catches physical debris (hair, skin cells, dust, particles) before it reaches the pump or UV chamber. Protects internal components and maintains water clarity. Reusable. 4 filters included with every unit. |
