Wood

Indonesian craftsmen have shaped teak for generations.

We source everything from the forests of Central Java where it has been grown for decades in volcanic soil. Verified under Indonesia’s SVLK timber legality system. Every piece is selected by superyacht timber specialists, dried in our own facility and finished by hand in our Bali factory. For every tree we source ten are planted.

Sourced Responsibly from Managed Forests

The forests of Blora sit in the heart of Central Java, where volcanic soil and a slow growing season produce teak of exceptional density and stability. Trees here grow for 50 to 100 years before harvesting, developing the tight, consistent grain that defines out units.

Every log is harvested in collaboration with Perhutani and verified through Indonesia’s SVLK timber legality system, ensuring full traceability from forest to factory. We do not use reclaimed wood, salvaged timber, or material of unknown origin. We know exactly where every piece of teak in your ice bath comes from.

Selected to a Superyacht Standard

Not all teak is equal. Even within the same forest, quality varies enormously depending on the age of the tree, the position of the cut, and the density of the grain. We work with Josh Wright of WrightSuperYacht, whose team grades and selects timber for some of the world’s most demanding marine applications.

This is teak chosen to withstand the most demanding environments on earth. An ice bath is well within its capabilities.

Dried from the Inside Out

Most outdoor wood products are air-dried or conventionally kiln-dried. Both methods remove moisture from the surface first, leaving the core vulnerable. Over time, this leads to warping, cracking, and structural failure.

We take a different approach. Our vacuum and microwave drying system, housed in our own facility, combines electromagnetic energy with vacuum pressure to extract moisture evenly from the inside out. The result is teak dried gently to below 8% moisture content, with its internal structure fully preserved.

This process eliminates all biological activity within the wood, making it termite-free. Every plank that leaves our kiln is dimensionally stable, structurally sound, and ready to last.

From Forest to Factory

Once dried and graded, every plank is shaped on Italian SCM precision machinery, cut to exact tolerances, and moved to our assembly floor. What happens next is a process we have refined over hundreds of iterations.

The wood is only the beginning.
